Carolyn has been such an incredible resource for us while my boyfriend, Brian, and I have been training our dog, River. We knew once we adopted her that we wanted her to have not only basic obedience skills but also have confidence in her off-leash abilities.
Due to the pandemic and our distance, Carolyn did a phenomenal job teaching the basic skills with us over Zoom and then transitioning safely into in-person classes for our off-leash training. She always made herself available for questions and clarifications between classes.
Our journey with River hasn’t always been easy and we used a few trainers before working exclusively with Carolyn. Her holistic approach to dog training and understanding of dog behaviors helped us to better connect with River and create a strong and trusting bond.
River went from being terrified and unable to walk around the block, to a dog who can walk for miles and miles with us. Carolyn is a fantastic dog trainer and I recommend her to anyone who needs help with their pup!
